Help Us Build a Playground!

Join us for the 5th annual Lady’s to Luke’s Bike Walk Run on May 22nd at 2pm. This year’s theme is Play Together, Pray Together. Sign-in will be at 1:30pm at OLIH with take-off at 2:00pm. The four mile route will be marked with signs and volunteers. Kids are encouraged to decorate their bikes, wagons and strollers. Plan to stay to celebrate your finish with games for the kids, food prepared by the Knights of Columbus and community fun! We will celebrate rain or shine! In the event of inclement weather, we will gather for celebration at St. Luke’s gymnasium.

All money raised will go to the St. Luke’s Playground Fund, providing a safe place for our children to play and grow!

We are looking for Sponsors!

We are looking for Sponsors of our event! In exchange for your donation, we will list your business or family name on the back of our t-shirts, advertise your business on our marketing flyers and list your business on our event page. If your family or business would like to be a sponsor, check out our sponsorship levels. All sponsorships must be received by May 1st to take advantage of all of the benefits!

Kid Sponsorships

Any school-age child may participate by asking family, grandparents, aunts, uncles and/or neighbors to sponsor their participation in the Lady’s to Luke’s Bike Walk Run! Pledges can be made in $5 increments in exchange for their commitment to bike, walk or run the 4-mile journey. With a minimum $25 pledge, the child’s name will be printed on the back of the event t-shirt under “Kid Sponsors”, the child will receive a free event t-shirt and their name will be entered in a prize drawing (see below). We have even created a form letter that can be used for the ask to make it easy! All sponsorships must be received by May 1st to be included on the t-shirt.

Kid Sponsor Prize Drawing 

The Grand Prize Drawing is “Design Your Own Party”. As the winner of this prize, you will have the opportunity to invite your friends to a customized celebration of your design, supervised and led by PE Instructor Jodi Juskiewicz and Zumba Kids instructor Kelly Royal. This one hour party will be held in St. Luke’s gymnasium on an available Saturday or Sunday in June. The winner of this DYO Party will be given a list of party activity choices such as Star Wars tag, relay races, Zumba Kids etc. The possibilities are endless! The winner will be chosen at the finish line on May 22nd. You do not need to be present to win.
