The purpose of the Stewardship Committee is to help develop stewardship as a way of life at St. Luke’s. The U.S. bishops wrote that stewardship is the response of the disciple to God’s unconditional love for us. Stewards see everything good as gifts from God and they respond in gratitude with the gift of self. In order to promote stewardship in the parish, we sponsor the annual ministry fair each fall, we distribute the “tithe of the tithe” in conjunction with the Social Concerns Team, we prepare educational materials to be distributed to the parish, and we developed the Guidebook and Directory.
The Stewardship Committee generally meets on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 1:00pm.
