Liturgical Ministries

In response to God’s generosity, to live as a good steward in our Catholic faith, we are encouraged to tithe not only our treasure but also give of the gifts of our time and talent. We are an active community here at St. Luke the Evangelist with ministries, programs and groups to fit your God-given charisms and calling. The active life of the Church grows forth from our encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist, then we listen to Jesus’ command to “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Consider growing in faith in one of our many Mass Ministries. Work alongside fellow parishioners as you serve others through one of our ministries listed below. Build community and strengthen your prayer by joining a group. Our lives as Christians are active in response to God’s invitations. Wherever God is calling you, follow him! We look forward to serving and praying alongside you.

At St. Luke the Evangelist we utilize the Ministry Scheduler System for our Mass Ministries. Signup notification comes from the Parish Office in 3-month periods. Email will have the deadline for availability input. Individuals shown “active” in the system will also be notified if substitutes are needed for a particular mass. At any time, a person can go into the system to view open ministries.
